Tonio Grech has been constructing a Nativity Scene – Presepju – at the Museum Boys section of Nadur in Gozo for the last 26 years.
Unfortunately, this year the “Presepju” will not be open to the public due to the Covid-19 restrictions, so this time it has been crafted specifically for the Nadur children that attend the Museum.
Its very original in its shape a `V ‘ form, using 20cm figurines, with some over 50-years old.
Intelligent lighting is also used in the form of the latest LEDs and bullet beams. Tonio is also inviting the public to follow virtual tours [1] of the presepju with photos and videos.
Tonio explained that the crib is made up of tree bark, stones and jublo which together give a wonderful effect.
