The Health Ministry has advised that a 74-year old man has died while being positive with Covid-19. This makes the number of lives lost to the virus now at 228.
The man tested positive for the virus on the 20th of December and passed away earlier today at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the deceased, called on the public to continue to follow the preventive measures “so that we can protect the most vulnerable in our society” – This includes wearing of masks, social distancing and hand hygiene.
