There have been 2 new Covid-19 case recorded in the past 24-hours, from 1,721 swab tests, making a positivity rate of 0.12. There were 4 recoveries and no new deaths registered.
Active cases are now at 62 in Malta and Gozo. The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic in Malta is 30,581 and there have been 30,100 recoveries and 419 deaths.

582,206 doses of the vaccine have been administered up until yesterday. 256,079 are now fully vaccinated, while 70,048 are partly vaccinated.
The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control [1] has advised that it will be reporting figures on a weekly basis – every Thursday. As of the 10th of June, it shows that the number of cases recorded for Malta is at 30,571 and the number of deaths showing is 419. The 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 is now 12.63, the lowest in the EU.
The ECDC said that the above data are collected between Monday and Wednesday for the proceeding week.
