Following intensive lobbying from the Ghajnsielem Local Council, Mayor Kevin Cauchi has advised that part of Xatt l-Ahmar Bay has now been designated as a swimming zone area.
The Mayor, writing on social media, explained that this was done to “create a safer environment for our families especially the children.”
He also said that over the coming days more facilities will continue to be added to the area.
