As from today, anyone who has had both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, with 14 days elapsed since the last dose, and are is in possession of the vaccine certificate, will be able to go without a mask in open public places.
This is only as long as they are in groups of not more than two vaccinated people together outdoors. Masks are still compulsory elsewhere.
The relaxation of this rule has been welcomed by many, with the soaring temperatures during the heatwave making them almost unbearable to wear.
Children under the age of 12 may remain unmasked as long as they are accompanied by a person vaccinated against Covid-19.

Unfortunately many are unable to download their certificates because of problems within the Government’s system.
Mine was OK but we have been trying to get my wife’s for 3 weeks without success.
Other than for travel, why can’t the vaccination card and ID be sufficient just for simply removing your mask, many don’t wear them anyway. This would also take pressure of the staff trying to sort out problems and issue the full certificate needed by some for travel.
