34 birds have been confiscated from the Floriana open market by the Environmental Protection Unit (EPU) assisted by the Wild Bird Regulation Unit following inspections on Sunday.
During these inspections, officers confiscated 34 birds of different species that were being sold illegally and also found two bird hawkers operating without a license.
