Colonialism has determined Malta to drive on the left. As I arrived in Australia I rented a car from the Airport and drove safely to my new destinations. When I went to Canada, I did not dare drive because they drive on the wrong side 🙂 The worst and most dangerious are the roundabouts, overtaking and turning on side roads.
I have suggested that some arrows should be drawn on many new roads. The most prominent lines are ‘do not park lines and ‘do not overtake’. They bring most revenue. What if from time to time we see some meters of arrows in the middle of the road/lane for example >>>>>>>>>>> and <<<<<<<<<<< to remind 'right side' drivers that they should adhere to the side we drive on in Malta! The roads leading out if the airport, boat terminals should have these painted signals on the road especially at Roundabouts and maintained regularly. ,
I do not know if these exist in other countries, but do we 'always' have to copy other countries?
