A Little bit of Opera – is the title of a classical concert by the Santa Cecilja Foundation (Gozo) which will be under the artistic director Antoine Mercieca.
This musical evening will bring to life snippets of opera through some of the most renowned arias and duets ever written.
These include excerpts from Puccini, Verdi, Mascagni and Bizet among others. Sopranos Stefania Vella and Frances Catherine Farrugia, Tenor Alan Sciberras and Baritone Louis Andrew Cassar will be accompanied by an orchestra under the baton of Mro Antoine Mercieca.
The public are welcome to attend this musical evening, which is on Saturday, the 27th of November, starting at 8pm at the Kempinski Hotel, San Lawrenz.
The organisers of this evening are responsible for adhering to the health and safety directives and regulations, relevant during that period issued by the Health Authorities.
Entrance is free of charge, however seating is limited and by reservation only on 9967 0638. The public must present a valid vaccine certificate at the beginning of the concert.
