The Ghajnsielem Local Council has announced that it has benefited from the ‘Freedom to Live’ scheme where funding was obtained to install a platform at Xatt l-Ahmar bay and to purchase railing and tactile tiles for public places.
On Tuesday evening, Ghajnsielem Mayor Kevin Cauchi was presented with the sum of €5,000 by Minister for Inclusion, Social Wellbeing and Voluntary Organisations Julia Farrugia Portelli.
The Ghajnsielem Local Council said that it “works hard to ensure we live in a society with equal inclusion to all.”
