A 70-year old woman has passed away in the last 24 hours while Covid-19 positive, authorities have said.
There were 122 new Covid-19 cases found overnight and 184 recoveries, which now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo down to 1,565.
There are 52 patients requiring treatment in Mater Dei Hospital (figures for Gozo General Hospital have not been updated) including 3 who are in ITU.
There have been 593 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
The number of booster doses administered up until yesterday is 338,537.
