A 76-year old man and an 86-year old woman have passed away in the last 24-hours while Covid-19 positive, authorities have said.
There were 56 new Covid-19 cases found overnight and 65 recoveries, which now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo to 714.
There are 35 patients requiring treatment in Mater Dei Hospital including 3 who are in ITU (figures for Gozo General Hospital have not been updated).
There have been 604 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
The number of booster doses administered up until yesterday is 342,571.
