There has been one submission received in the Preliminary Market Consultation which was launched in July [1], regarding the Victoria Car Park and Green Space at Pjazza l-Assedju ta Ghawdex, Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri said.
The consultation was published by the Gozo Regional Development Authority (GRDA) with the aim of determining the feasibility in connection with the potential development of a multi-level carpark complemented with an open green space at the site.
The Minister was replying to a Parliamentary Question tabled by Opposition MP Chris Said, asking for an update on the consultation which closed in September and what the next step will be.
Minister Camilleri said that “this consultation was another phase of a series of studies that the GRDA is doing to evaluate the feasibility of going to a Private Public Partnership (PPP) in the form of a concession.”
He added that the GRDA has also submitted an Outline Development Permit application with the Planning Authority.
