9 new Covid-19 cases have been reported in the past 24-hours, along with 4 recoveries, the information was given on the Health Authorities social media, details of the cases will be provided in Prof Gauci’s update on Monday.
130 cases are currently active, 473 patients have recovered and there has been 6 deaths. There were a record number of 1,727 tests taken in the past 24-hours, with the total so far at 59,511.
Prof Gauci’s daily briefings will now only take place on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday, when journalist’s questions will also be taken.
Restaurants are now open to the public, with 157 across Gozo and Malta registering an interest to do so, however, many have said that the first 24-hours have been very quiet.
Catering Establishment have to follow protocols/mitigation measures [1]. These include being inspected prior to opening and a Covid-19 compliant sticker being issued.
