The Parliamentary Committee on Gozo Affairs will be discussing “excessive development and environmental and urban degradation in Gozo,” during its meeting scheduled for Monday, the 10th of May.
This is being done following a request put forward [1] at the last meeting from the Gozo Regional Council and Gozitan Mayors [2] to put this matter on the agenda.
Opposition Spokesperson for Gozo Chris Said, said that he and his fellow PN representatives on the Council, Kevin Cutajar and Joseph Ellis, “insisted that it be put on the agenda of the next Committee meeting, which request was accepted.”
Dr Said went on to say that any organisation or person who wants to take part, even online, can put in a request by emailing: gozo-affairs.committee@parlament.mt [3]
You will also be able to follow the whole discussion on the Parliament website [4]. The meeting is scheduled to start at 4.30pm.
