Three men aged 80, 85 and 92 have passed away in the last 24 hours while Covid-19 positive, authorities have said.
There were 143 new Covid-19 cases found overnight and 209 recoveries, which now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo down to 1,872.
There are 70 patients requiring treatment in Mater Dei Hospital including 4 who are in ITU. As of yesterday’s date [1] there were 19 patients being treated in Gozo General Hospital and 13 in Karin Grech, according to Steward Health Care Malta.
There have been 579 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
The number of booster doses administered up until yesterday have not been updated and is still showing 336,750.
