Steward Health Care Malta has advised that currently, Gozo General Hospital is treating 19 Covid-19 positive patients, while Karin Grech Hospital is treating 13 Covid-19 positive patients.
It said that, “we need your help in getting these numbers down. We have the opportunity to reduce the transmission of the virus through vaccination.”
Steward Malta went on to say that “Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove from the World Health Organization (WHO) stated that we all have an important role to play in putting an end to this pandemic.”
`We are encouraged to act responsibly by getting vaccinated to prevent further infection and reduce transmission,” it said.
Steward Malta concluded by saying that “WHO reminds us that we all have a common goal to fight the virus, and not fight each other because we are in this together.”
