A nature walk will be taking place on Gozo at the start of December, which will be lead by the BirdLife Malta Events & Activities Group.
The walk will be a circular one, commencing at Qbajjar and proceeding to Xwejni Bay, Wied il-Mielah, Wied il-Ghasri, then Zebbug, followed by an optional late lunch at a restaurant in Xlendi and then back to Qbajjar.
The event is open to BirdLife Malta members. Anyone who is not a member and would like to participate in this event please become a member before booking your place. This can be done online by clicking here.
The walk is on Sunday, the 4th of December, the meeting point will be at Gozo’s Mgarr Harbour at 9:30am and transport by coach will be provided to Qbajjar and back to the Gozo Ferry from Xlendi following the event, which will finish at 5pm..
BirdLife Malta said that this walk is classified as an easy walk with some inclines. Appropriate footwear is recommended.
Participation is limited to a total of 50 and bookings will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested members can book by sending an email to activities@birdlifemalta.org by not later than Wednesday, the 23rd of November, unless limit is taken up before.
When booking via email please quote your BirdLife Malta Membership Number. More details, including how to pay for the donation for the transport and the lunch, will then be forwarded on application.
