Zminijietna – Voice of the Left has said that it is “strongly objects to the Planning Authority proposal to regularise `building illegalities’ to properties that partially lay in the Outside the Development zone areas.”

In a statement, Zminijietna argued that “outside development zone areas should be protected by law, and no one should be allowed to build in an irresponsible and unethical way, and then pretend to get the building regularised.”

“The PA should not regularise illegal development. Zminijietna is not against sanctioning of ‘minor changes’ but is against sanctioning of ‘illegal building extensions’ in outside the development zone areas.”
