There were 13 new Covid-19 cases recorded on the Public Health Response Team official open source database in the last 24-hours.

One new death was registered, the first since the 22nd of October. The total number of deaths from the start of the pandemic is 809.

Active cases in Malta and Gozo now stands at 210 This brings the number of cases in the Maltese Islands since the start of the pandemic to 115,734.

There were 419 tests taken over the last 24 hours making a positivity rate of 3.10%.

The Health Department said that tests carried out at home are not included in the figures.
