€600 has been donated to the Arka Foundation of Ghajnsielem, which had been collected during Christmas events held in Nadur.
Nadur Mayor Edward Said presented the donation to Foundation Director Fr Michael Galea, who expressed his thanks to everyone for their generosity.
The money was donated during a Christmas Concert held earlier this month at Nadur Basilica – Concert Verbum Caro Factum Est, and – Joy to the World – held last Wednesday, which was a special evening in the main square dedicated to festive fun for all the family, with Santa’s house, sleigh, games entertainment and more.
Both events were held “in full collaboration and financial assistance of the Parliamentary Secretariat for Local Government and the Tourism Authority.”
