In line with its commitment to offer quality programmes at affordable rates, the Malta Institute of Management (MIM) is offering special packages on its Diploma in Vat Compliance for a limited period.

Until 15 October 2009, enrolling students will be given free attendance to the MIM Conference Vat and the EU which usually costs €450. Students will also get the opportunity to have a BOV Subsidised Loan offering advantageous rates, free career advice and assistance, free MIM membership for a year, free internet access at MIM premises and free access to international databases.

The Diploma in VAT Compliance organized by the MIM has been a very successful programme and is being run for the fourth time in Malta. This programme is delivered also in the UK and the MIM is also launching it in Italy. The MIM strongly believes that there is room for strong VAT planning and that professionals and persons compiling the VAT form may still not be fully aware of these planning opportunities. Many tax advisers focus primarily on the Direct Taxation but fail to plan the VAT aspect in the most efficient manner. The Diploma in VAT compliance is a tool to understand better the VAT legislation and to ensure better planning.

The Diploma takes a very pragmatic approach and gives practical examples. It also considers the individual needs of the busy professional. The Diploma shows that the holder has achieved a recognised level of training in the principles of VAT. The MIM is now offering a special package for a limited period.
