After their successful tour in Budapest, Hungary last May, 2009, once again the Astra Folk Group of Victoria will be representing our islands, as a Mediterrean group, for the 22nd International Festival in Miranda de Ebro, North of Spain between the 2nd and the 9th September 2009.

This tour is once again is supported by the Government of Malta and various private entities. The group is headed by Mr. Joseph Borda – PR & Logistics Director, Mr.George Farrugia – Wardrobe Director and Mr. Anton Zammit Artistic – Director of the group.

During their stay in Spain, the Astra Folk Group, through its singing and dancing, will be also helping to advertise Malta & Gozo as a Touristic and Cultural Attraction.
