Work is due to start in the coming days on Ghajn Tuta Street, Kercem, and will be carried out by the Kercem Local Council.

The Council explained that the work will include the installation of a drainage service which, it said, has been long awaited, together with new tarmac that will be laid along the entire length of the road leading to Xlendi.

“Special thanks goes to the Ministry for Gozo as this has been a project which the Local Council has been working on for quite some time,” the Council said.

The Kercem Local Council requested the kind cooperation of everyone, and for the residents to bear with them while the work is carried out and the street is temporarily closed.
