A 25-year old British man was seriously injured on Thursday evening after losing control of his quad bike and crashing in Gharb.
Police said that the accident happened at around 7pm in Triq il-Blata, in Wied il-Mielah, Gharb, Gozo.
A medical team assisted the man at the scene before he was taken to the Gozo General hospital for further treatment. He was certified as suffering from serious injuries.
A Magisterial Inquiry was appointed into the case, whilst Police investigations are still ongoing.
No comment. I am tired to be the only voice, each summer, multiple times, so many injuries, so much bad publicity, so much medical expenses for a hazardous sport which seems to be on the increase for even fatalities.
