The Police have reiterated their warning to Facebook Messenger users to be cautious when replying to messages such as the ones shown above.
The accounts being used are real accounts which have been compromised and are being used to lure the victims into accessing a link which is sent to them.
When providing this code the victim will be giving access to third parties to their social media account, the Police said.
