It is the start of a new week and the National Blood Transfusion Service is calling all blood groups for donations, especially O Positive blood.
“We need 84 bags of O Positive, so please donate this week.”
The Service continued to encourage Gozitans to please keep attending donation sessions to help the patients in need get the necessary blood in a timely manner.
The next session in Gozo will be tomorrow, Tuesday, the 19th of September from 1pm until 5pm, at the Xewkija Clinic. “Renew somebody’s hope to live…give blood.”
“Your cooperation and generosity are greatly appreciated as always,” the Service said.
The centre is located at the Xewkija Clinic, in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.
Important notes from the National Blood Transfusion Service
The Service reminds everyone that it is very important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
As usual, please wear a mask when attending the clinic.
