Because of the bad weather conditions with high winds, the Gozo Channel company said that its ferry services are operating via the Comino route, with some delays expected for trips.

The forecast is for winds to reach up to force 7 today – Saturday.

The Met Office has issued an orange – be prepared warning that the West Southwest wind will be very strong over the Maltese Islands and very strong over the exposed areas.

This warning is valid till 06/2100 and will be renewed accordingly.
