Seminarians Samuel Aquilina and Marlon V. Bajada, on Sunday of the Word of God – were instituted into the Ministry of Lector by the Bishop of Gozo Anton Teuma
The Mass was held in the Parish Church of San Pawl, Munxar.
In his homily the Bishop said, “there does not exist in the world a more beautiful and better way than the Word of God of how one should live his life… there is no more beautiful and better way than the Gospel.”
Bishop Teuma added that, “we must all be convinced of this, not simply because I am saying it, but because we all have the experience of how when we heard the Word and tried to live it, we realised that then we really feel like human beings, real people, mature human beings.”
“We feel we grow when we listen to the Word and try to put it into practice and live it,” the Bishop said.
