The ongoing works at the “Gozo Indoor Sports and Aquatic Pavilion” are now at a “very advanced stage.”
This was said by Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri during a visit to the site of the complex, which covers around 5,000 square metres in Victoria.
The Minister said that the electrical work is almost all done, the construction is completed, finishings are underway with the installation of the apertures and in March the testing of the Olympic-sized swimming pool will be carried out.
Work on the facade of this facility will start next month “and this actually marks the last milestone of this project,” said Camilleri.
The Minister concluded by saying that he looked forward to the completion of the project that will provide Gozitan sportsmen with an excellent indoor sports facility on Gozo.
