A 40km Charity Ride and Run with Matthew is taking place next month in aid of Puttinu Cares.

The Gharb Local Council explained that the cycling ride will start from Gharb main square passing through almost all localities in Gozo and finish once again back in Gharb, while the 2km run will take place in the locality of Gharb.

The date to keep free for this very worthy cause is Tuesday, the 19th of March, starting at 9:00am from Pjazza Taz-Zjara tal-Madonna, Gharb

The organisers said that this is a non-competitive event and an occasional t-shirt and goodie bags will be given after. A donation of € 10 is being asked for ride and run participants.
