As part of the Festival Mediterranea being held in Gozo, the Teatru Astra will be staging the opera ‘Rigoletto’ on Thursday and Saturday (29th and 31st October respectively).

With a view to giving the required service Gozo Chanel clients, catering for the increased demand that is traditionally expected, the company will be rescheduling the 23:30 hours trip from Mgarr to Midnight and the 00:15 hours trip from Cirkewwa to 00:30 hours on Thursday and Saturday which trip will be performed by the MV Malita with both hoistable decks lowered so as to accommodate the additional traffic crossing over to Malta after the opera.

Gozo Channel will in this way be giving the logistical support needed to cultural activities in Gozo.
