This weekend the Ghajnsielem Local Council officially commemorated 20-years of official friendship with its twinned town of Tolfa in Italy.
A ceremony was held on Saturday evening during Tolfarte ’24 – an International Festival of Street Art and Artistic Crafts that takes place every year in Tolfa, a charming medieval village in the province of Rome, involving over 300 artists and craftsmen, attracting more than 50,000 visitors.
The Council said that the twinning agreement was officially signed in August 2004 when Pjazza Tolfa in Ghajnsielem was also inaugurated.
“May this friendship continue to foster new opportunities for our residents for many years to come,” the Ghajnsielem Local Council said.
