A 56-year old man is in a critical condition after being involved in an argument during the early hours of Sunday morning in Gozo.

Police received a report at around 4.30am of an argument outside an entertainment establishment on Triq ix-Xlendi, Munxar.

A medical team provided first assistance at the scene, before the man, who is from Finland, was taken to the Gozo General Hospital.

Magistrate Dr. Brigitte Sultana has launched an inquiry, while police investigations are ongoing.
