The Church in Gozo mourns the loss of Monsignor Emmanuel Curmi, from the Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in Fontana.

The Diocese of Gozo said that Mgr Curmi, who passed away on Sunday aged 87, “was the busiest servant of the Divine Master and a pioneer in the works of charity carried out in our Diocese, among others as Director of Caritas as well as founder and Director of Dar Arka.”

His Funeral will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, the 29th of October, at 4.00pm, in the Parish Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Fontana, led by Bishop Anton Teuma.

“The Lord gives him eternal rest.”
