The Planning Commission said that in an unanimous decision, it has rejected an application – PA/06041/23 – that sought permission to construct two stables and associated facilities, including a hay store/tack room, as well as the installation of a timber gate, all within close proximity of Wied San Blas l/o Nadur.
The proposed development, by architect Alex Bigeni on behalf of applicant Brian Zammit, was sought to be “incompatible with the surrounding area, which is valued for its undisturbed rural character and is largely free from similar structures,” the Planning Commission said.
