Due to the current bad weather conditions with high winds, the Gozo Channel ferry services are operating via the Comino route, with some delays expected for trips.

The forecast is for winds to reach up to force 7-8 today – Monday.

The Met Office has issued an updated yellow – be aware warning that the West Northwest wind will be strong to very strong at times over the exposed areas of the Maltese Islands. This warning is valid till ten this evening Local Time.

The current wind forecast from the Met Office is for West force 6 to 7 locally force 7 to 8 veering West Northwest force 6 to 7 locally force 7 to 8.
