One hundred BOV MasterCard Prepaid Cards, each with a value of €50, will be won by one hundred different BOV Cardholders who effect at least one purchase transaction using their BOV card between the 1st December 2009 and the 31st January 2010.

“We are delighted to reward cardholder loyalty and to encourage all BOV cardholders to use their BOV card to pay for their purchases this Christmas season,” said Michael Galea, Executive Head responsible for Cards Business at Bank of Valletta. “All our cards are participating in this year’s promotion including all Cashlink cards and all BOV Visa and MasterCard credit cards,” added Mr. Galea.

During the promotion period, a BOV Cardholder is given a stake in the lottery for every purchase transaction effected and, therefore, the more a customer uses the BOV card, the more the chances of winning.

One hundred winners will be drawn at random on the 9th February 2010 and each winner will receive a BOV MasterCard Prepaid Card worth €50.

Mr. Galea said that BOV cards provide a straightforward and efficient payment tool to BOV customers. “We encourage our cardholders to use their card at shops, restaurants, supermarkets and other outlets to pay for goods and services instead of using cash and get a chance to win one of our innovative prepaid cards whilst enjoying all the benefits associated with BOV cards,” said Mr. Galea.
