The Met Office has said that by Saturday morning, the wind is expected to decrease in strength to Force 5 to 6 as it shifts to the south-southwest and will die down further by Sunday.

The weather for Saturday and Sunday is expected to be partly cloudy. The maximum temperature is forecast to reach up to 18°C, with nighttime temperatures ranging between 12°C and 11°C.

It also noted that last month continued the trend observed month by month in 2024, closing the year with drier-than-average weather. In fact, in December, the Meteorological Office measured 43.6 mm of rainfall, 41.2 mm below the quota.
