This coming weekend, there will be special bus services for Nadur Carnival in Gozo, taking place on the 28th February and the 1st and 2nd of March, Malta Public Transport said.
Special services will be introduced, including direct routes from Victoria to Nadur, as well as shuttles between Mgarr Ferry and Nadur, and late-night services.
Friday 28th February
Direct Service will operate from Victoria to Nadur every 30min between 20:00hrs and 00:00hrs.
A shuttle service will operate between Mgarr Ferry and Nadur with each scheduled ferry (including extra ferry trips) between 19:00hrs and 00:00hrs.
Special services will operate at 01:00hrs (Saturday early morning) from Nadur to all localities as shown below:
1. S1 NADUR to XAGHRA-MARSALFORN
2. S2 NADUR to XEWKIJA-SANNAT (TA’ CENC)-MUNXAR- XLENDI
3. S3 NADUR to VICTORIA – KERCEM – ST LUCIA
4. S4 NADUR to VICTORIA SAN LAWRENZ –GHARB – GHASRI– ZEBBUG
5. S5 NADUR to GHAJNSIELEM – MGARR (VAPUR)
6. S6 NADUR to QALA
Saturday 1st March
Direct Service will operate from Victoria to Nadur every 15min between 20:00hrs and 00:00hrs.
A shuttle service will operate between Mgarr Ferry and Nadur with each scheduled ferry (including extra ferry trips) between 19:00hrs and 00:00hrs.
Special services will operate at 01:00hrs and 02:30hrs (Sunday early morning) from Nadur to all localities as shown below:
1. S1 NADUR-XAGHRA-MARSALFORN
2. S2 NADUR-XEWKIJA-SANNAT (TA’ CENC)-MUNXAR- XLENDI
3. S3 NADUR – VICTORIA – KERCEM – ST LUCIA
4. S4 NADUR – VICTORIA SAN LAWRENZ –GHARB – GHASRI– ZEBBUG
5. S5 NADUR – GHAJNSIELEM – MGARR (VAPUR)
6. S6 NADUR – QALA
Sunday 2nd March
Direct Service will operate from Victoria to Nadur every 30min between 20:00hrs and 23:00hrs.
Special services will operate at 00:00hrs from Nadur to all localities as shown below:
1. S1 NADUR-XAGHRA-MARSALFORN
2. S2 NADUR-XEWKIJA-SANNAT (TA’ CENC)-MUNXAR- XLENDI
3. S3 NADUR – VICTORIA – KERCEM – ST LUCIA
4. S4 NADUR – VICTORIA SAN LAWRENZ –GHARB – GHASRI– ZEBBUG
5. S5 NADUR – GHAJNSIELEM – MGARR (VAPUR)
6. S6 NADUR – QALA
All personalised Tallinja Card holders can travel free of charge on Day, Night, and Special Services. Passengers without a valid Tallinja Card can purchase cash tickets at €3 per trip from the bus ticket machine. Tallinja Direct route fares are €3.00 for cash payments on board and €1.50 when using a personalised Tallinja Card.
