The Gozo College said that it is the project coordinator of an Erasmus+ Project ‘ Blue Ocean: mainstreaming a Blue Education Area in Europe and the Pacific Ocean Schools,’ partnering with schools from French Polynesia (Tahiti), the island of Crete in Greece, Sicily, Italy and Puglia, Italy.
The aim of this project is to connect schools from remote islands for the promotion of the ocean literacy and blue careers from the Mediterranean to the Pacific Ocean.
The Gozo College explained that this project will foster the students’ creativity and encourage them to acquire knowledge about Ocean Preservation, Blue Careers and Civic engagement.
