Running in parallel with the exceptional retrospective of Carmelo Mangion artworks on display at at Il-Hagar Museum in Victoria, the Gozo Philatelic Society said it has changed the display in its showcase on level -1 at the museum.
Visitors will now be able to view an assortment of “modern” or “contemporary” paintings featured on stamps issued by various countries, including Malta and Cuba among others.
These stamps will remain on display till the beginning of September, when it is planned to offer others.
The museum, which is open in St George’s Square, opens from 9am to 5pm seven days a week – without any entrance fee.
