Leader of the Opposition Dr Alex Borg, was the special guest recently on the University of Malta’s radio programme Andrew fuq Campus 103.7

In an engaging one-on-one interview with broadcaster Prof. Andrew Azzopardi, Dr Borg outlined his political vision, his approach to leadership, and the challenges the Nationalist Party is facing.

UM said that the programme also featured personal contributions from those closest to Dr Borg, including his partner Sarah Bajada, his mother Marja Borg, his brother David Borg, and Damian Spiteri, Mayor of Munxar and a childhood friend.

“Their testimonies shed light on Dr Borg’s character, values, and long-standing commitment to his community,” said the UM.

During the discussion, Dr Borg highlighted his key priorities as Leader of the Opposition.

He announced that combating loneliness will be at the centre of his social policy agenda, recognising it as one of the most pressing issues affecting people across Malta and Gozo. He also stressed the importance of policies that empower young people and the need to safeguard a sustainable environment for future generations.

Dr Borg reaffirmed his belief in a politics that listens, engages, and places people at the heart of decision-making.
