Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Public Works Chris Bonnett, has said that the Authority is currently carrying out the preparations and process required to finalise the works that will lead to the necessary interventions on the Fast Ferry Terminal at Mgarr, Gozo.
He added that the aim of these interventions is to improve the facilities for passengers of this service.
The Minister was replying to a Parliamentary Question tabled in Parliament by Opposition MP Chris Said, as to when the necessary works will be carried out on this area which is used for people waiting to board the fast ferry at Mgarr.
Said argued that it causes great inconvenience for people using the service as there is nowhere to take shelter from the different elements of weather.

It’s very much needed and urgently now that the weather has changed and the rain makes a mess of the waiting area where like I experienced myself yesterday during the rain at 2.00 pm with many tourists angry as they could not shelter properly from the rain.
