Malta Airport new winter schedule with 86 destinations and 3 new routes

The flight schedule for this winter season, extending from October 2025 until March 2026, has been unveiled by Malta International Airport. It said that the schedule features a network of routes to 86 destinations served by 23 partner airlines.
The season will see the introduction of three new routes to Tirana in Albania, Palma de Mallorca in Spain, and Gothenburg in Sweden, further strengthening Malta’s year-round connectivity with key markets in Europe.
Malta International Airport said that it capped off the summer season with a total of 990,556 passenger movements in September. The peak travel day came early in the month, when 36,979 passengers passed through the terminal on the 4th of September. Aircraft activity climbed to 6,013 and, while seat capacity increased by 9.9% year-on-year, planes remained nearly full, averaging a 90.7 per cent seat load factor.
