Gozo Channel ferries operating via Comino route, delays expected

Gozo ferry, rough seasBecause of the current bad weather conditions with high winds, the Gozo Channel ferry services are operating via the Comino route, with some delays expected for trips.

The Met Office has issued an updated yellow warning – “The West Northwest wind will be strong to very strong over the exposed areas of the Maltese Islands. This warning is valid till noon and will be renewed accordingly.”

The current wind forecast from the Met Office is that the North Westerly wind will be strong to very strong over exposed areas of the Maltese islands and may reach Force 7.

Gozo Highspeed ferry trips are all suspended until further notice, passengers are advised to follow its social media for updates.
