Almost 152,000 tourists visited Gozo in November, over 138,000 were same-day visitors

151,799 tourists visited Gozo during November, including both same-day (138,710) and overnight (13,089) or 49.8% of total tourists for the Maltese Islands (394,620).
The figure was an increase of 18.6% on the same period last year, the National Statistics Office said today.
The number of tourists visiting Gozo from January to November, including both same-day and overnight visitors totalled 2,211,717 or 58.2% of total tourists (3,797,206), this was a 12.9% increase on last year, the NSO said.
On a national basis, total inbound tourists for November were estimated at 304,620, an increase of 15.9% when compared to the corresponding month in 2024.
Total nights spent amounted to 1,897,775, and total expenditure reached €273.7 million.
The largest share of guest nights (89.2%) was spent in rented accommodation establishments.
Inbound tourists in the first eleven months of 2025 amounted to 3,797,206, while total nights reached 24.1 million.
The NSO noted that total tourist expenditure for the period January-November 2025 was estimated at €3,741.4 million, while expenditure per capita stood at €985.
