Health Minister Jo Etienne Abela has expressed his thanks to the pilots and the Management of the Gozo General Hospital who yesterday, “without hesitation, organised the transfer of two Gozitan patients by helicopter, early in the morning, directly to Mater Dei.”

The Minister stated that, “despite the problems of the heavy sea, we carried out two serious operations on time and as planned. I wish them a speedy recovery.”
