Gozo’s housing market activity slowed down in January while the island once again registered the second lowest figures for final deeds of sale from the regions at 126, this figure was down on the previous month and last year.

National Statistics Office data released today revealed that 126 final deeds of sale on residential property were registered in Gozo during January. This figure was down by 22 on December, and by 20 on January last year. The highest number were in Zebbug at 17, which also includes Marsalforn.

Promise of sale agreements in Gozo was the lowest of the regions, registering 104, this was down by 45 agreements on December and by 42 on January last year. The highest number were in Sannat, which registered 16.
