The JP2 Foundation is holding an evening of music and poetry during the preparatory time for the Holy Week “LEHHA Dawl fid-Dlam” A light in the darkness.
The evening will host the JP2 String Quartet composed of four female musicians residing in Gozo.
They will be performing Faure, Bach, Tartini, Vivaldi, Scumann, Mozart, Schubert, Lorenc, Handel, Albinoni and Pergolesi. For this occasion Chev. Joe M. Attard will be reading some poems from his newly published poetry book “L-GHAJNA TAT-TIFKIRA.”
The event will take place on Monday,the 23rd of March, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Victoria Gozo starting at 7.45pm.
The Foundation said that the Victoria Local Council together with some local outlets are supporting the event.
The event is free of charge and the public are invited to attend.
