”Passengers with a valid ticket for the Gozo fast ferry service purchased in advance, including Gozitans, will be given priority and will have guaranteed boarding,” said Minister for Sustainable Mobility Chris Bonett.

The Minister was replying to a Parliamentary Question tabled by Opposition Spokesperson for Gozo Frank Anthony Tabone, on when the priority boarding system for Gozitan residents on the fast ferry was expected to come into effect.

Bonett also told Parliament that, ”at the same time, developments are being made in the systems with the aim of allowing Gozitans and Maltese who use the service daily to have more flexibility in their journeys.”
